Drum Clamp Rotator : DC-R2

The DC-R2 Hydraulic Drum Rotator is a heavy duty rotator designed to lift and rotate 205 litre steel drums. A Chain Belly Strap holds the drum firmly in position, whilst the rotation is provided by the Forklift hydraulics. One hydraulic function is required.
Standard finish is enamel painted.

Designed for transporting one or multiple drums without the aid of expensive pallets. This hydraulically operated clamp dramatically increases productivity, while the forklift operator remains safely in his seat. Back injuries are dramatically reduced due to the elimination of manual handling of unstable large drums. Both side shifting and rotating models are also available. Rotating models can be used for both pouring the contents during mixing operations or for inverting drums, to re-settle the contents before shipment.

Handlers
Completely mechanical devices that can be slipped onto the forks of any standard forklift truck in just a matter of seconds! Once installed, the loading or unloading of most types of drums is achieved safely and efficiently without the forklift driver leaving the seat of his truck. All drum handlers are completely automatic and operate by clamping the drum around its waist or by its upper lip. "The heavier the drum, the tighter the grip"! All units are operated by driving forward, contacting the drum and then elevating the carriage of the forklift truck. Once elevated the drum remains securely clamped within the jaws until it is lowered to the ground and released, when the forklift truck backs away.

Rotators
Designed for inverting drums in a forward motion for the purpose of pouring or mixing the contents with other substances. While inverting the drum it can be positioned in any location, and automatically locked. It will not move until it is hydraulically activated again. Back injuries are dramatically reduced due to the elimination of manual handling of awkward, unstable large drums. The hydraulic up enders can be removed in seconds returning this unit to its original use as a hydraulic fork clamp. Optional drum cutouts in the forks enable this clamp to be used for multiple drum transporting.
